MSA BLUE CARD - EXPLAINED
We’re changing up the way we award children!
From the start of December 2024, we will be handing out our MSA blue cards at the end of every class and replacing it with our current certificates. Alongside the blue card, children will also receive an MSA medal.
In football, receiving cards is never a good thing, however we want to flip that on its head and we want children to be fixated on getting one of these cards!
Our MSA cards will be presented to children for fantastic qualities they have shown in the classes, which could be helping a child if they’ve fallen, doing something out of the ordinary, helping the coach collect equipment or, making friends with a child attending for the first time.
Football is a game for everyone and every child will develop at a different speed but with our ethos and environment it allows every child to be recognised regardless of their perceived ability level. The card gives the children the opportunity to be rewarded for social development, being enthusiastic, helpful, polite, friendly, to name just a few more, rather than scoring the most goals.
